Barry Ashworth's merry pranksters The Dub Pistols play live at XOYO in London this thursday, which following their last rammed out gig at the Jazz Cafe, should be packed to the rafters! With special guests Rodney P, Seanie T and more this will without doubt be the start of another "Mucky Weekend". DJ support comes from Shepdog and Rompa (Rompa's Reggae Shack).

Reggae Roast Jamdown

Once again the Reggae Roast crew hit Brixton with another killer line up for their Jamdown session. With Mungo's Hifi in town, you know its gonna be a ram jam affair, but add NICE UP! favourites Barry Ashworth (Dub Pistols) and Rodney P, as well as dubstep don DJ Madd alongside residents plus the Unit 137 crew you'd be pushed to find a more dub-filled affair this weekend!

Dub Pistols - Gunshot

One of our favourite bands here at NICE UP! (and obviously popular with the rest of the world with all the awards they've been winning recently) - festival warriors Dub Pistols drop their new single "Gunshot" with an awesome line up of remixes by other NICE UP! faves Jstar, Adam Prescott, Jinx In Dub and Issac Maya. Featuring Darrison and Rodney P on vocal duties, its a hype drum & bass infused banger, with the remixes taking on a range of dancefloor styles. Check them all here.

Reggae Roast - Part 2 Style

Another wicked event from the Reggae Roast crew, who are bringing over Japan's Part 2 Style for their next Eastside session on the 22nd March. It's a brilliant basement venue in Stoke Newington/Dalston which is perfect for a skanking on a friday night. Having played there a couple of times I can vouch for the fantastic vibes and intimate but up-for-it crowd. As always, residents Moodie, Adam Prescott and Vibration Lab bring the bass weight alongside Clapper and Parly B - heavy! You can find more info here and grab tickets here
